Ray Elected New Mayor Of Rochester

Ray has been on Rochester City Council since 2013.

ROCHESTER, MI — Rochester has a new mayor. Rob Ray was unanimously elected by city council and will hold the position for one year. Ray has been on Rochester City Council since 2013, according to a C & G Newspapers report.

“My father raised me on the Cub Scout motto, which was to do your best,” Ray said. “I am confident, at least to my council members, that you will get that from me. And to the community, that you will get that from your City Council,” he said following the council election Nov. 27.
“The council, also by majority vote, named Kim Russell mayor pro tem. Russell, who owns Helro Corp. in Rochester and is also involved with Rodan and Fields, has lived in the city since 1989 and has served on the council since 2007.”
