McDonald's Manager Gets Coffee Thrown At Her: Police

An angry customer allegedly forced a drive-thru window open and threw the coffee, according to St. Clair Shores Police.

ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI — A McDonald’s manager was uninjured after a customer threw coffee at her after prying open the Nine Mile Road restaurant’s drive-thru window, according to a Detroit News report. The man bought food and coffee shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday, but drove back, was apparently upset and tossed coffee at the manager despite the offer of a replacement order.

“The suspect then fled the scene. His vehicle is described as an older gray Ford minivan.”
“The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-9-inches tall, 180 pounds with dark hair, a mustache and glasses. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the St. Clair Shores Detective Bureau at (586) 445-5305.”
