TWIN CITIES, MN — If you count yourself as a snow lover, you hopefully cherished what we got over Halloween. Because there won't be another flake in sight for a while.

The latest mid-range forecast from the National Weather Service all but guarantees a November heatwave. "Warmer than normal temperatures are favored for mid-November across the Upper Midwest," the NWS said.

The average temperature for November in Minnesota is 39.3 degrees, according to St. Cloud State Climate data from 1991 through 2020.

Here's the specific NWS forecast from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport:

Tuesday: A slight chance of rain between 8am and 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 48. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
