Edina Planning Commission And Housing & Redevelopment Authority Will Hold Electronic Meetings On September 9 And 10

Edina, Minn., Sept. 1, 2020 – The Edina Planning Commission and Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) will hold electronic meetings next week.

The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9. Members of the public can watch the meeting live:

• City’s “Watch a Meeting” web page at EdinaMN.gov/LiveMeetings

The meeting includes public hearings for the Commission to consider a front yard setback variance for an entryway addition at 6720 Samuel Road and a first-floor height variance for a new home at 5313 W. 60th St.. Members of the public can participate in the public hearings by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 9062468 during the meeting. Press *1 on your telephone keypad when you are ready to testify in a public hearing. An operator will mute your line place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. After the public hearings, the call will end.

The HRA meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. Members of the public can watch the meeting live:

The meeting includes “Community Comment,” during which residents may call in to speak about anything not on the agenda or planned for a future public hearing. A public hearing has also been scheduled for Commissioners to consider the sale of land to The Sound on 76th and approve a redevelopment agreement. Members of the public can participate by calling 800-374-0221 with Conference ID 4823889 during the meeting. Press *1 on your telephone keypad when you are ready to testify in a public hearing. An operator will mute your line place you into a queue until it is your turn to speak. After “Community Comment,” the call will end.
