The Outsiders

For anyone who ever felt on The Outside. TEDx comes to Fridley to talk about what it means to belong.

TEDx Fridley will be taking place October 30th at the Passion Event Center from 5:00-8:30 hosted by Congressman, Keith Ellison. Center stage for the evening? What it means to belong. A universal and complex topic that any person over the age of nine can relate to (anyone else remember what it felt like to be picked last for a team in elementary school?). “Belonging” is hard to define and evolves as we go through life. TEDx Fridley attempts not to answer this question, but rather to ask it.

This event has collected a diverse menu of speakers ranging from a current Fridley high school student, to a popular talk show host. More than just speakers, this will also have live music, exhibits and food. A few local businesses that will be there and helped to sponsor this are: Springbrook Nature Center, Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts and Grandpa’s Ice Cream.

Tickets are $15pp and open to the public. To get your tickets and learn more, go to Fridley Public Schools.
