Lakeville Area Schools Honors 50 Employees Who Are Set To Retire

The district held a dinner for the retiring employees, who collectively have dedicated 1,071 years of service to Lakeville Area Schools.

LAKEVILLE, MN —Lakeville Area Schools on Wednesday held a dinner to celebrate the district's employees who have announced they will be retiring at the end of the school year.

The event was held at Brackett's Crossing Country Club and 28 of the 50 retirees were in attendance, according to the district.

Lakeville Area Schools said the 50 retirees have dedicated 1,071 years of service to the district.

"Our district has benefited greatly from these individuals' dedication and commitment to their work," The district said in a statement. "Over those (1,071) years, they have each helped shape the next generation and enhance our community. We would like to extend our gratitude and congratulations as they transition to retirement. Congratulations!"

The list of employees who are retiring includes those who submitted their notice of retirement by May 13:
