Lakeville City Announces 170th Street And 179th Street Closure

Flagstaff Avenue and Eventide Way will be open to traffic north and south of the intersection with 170th Street.

170th Street: Beginning on April 27, 170th Street will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic from Flagstaff Avenue to Eventide Way. Flagstaff Avenue and Eventide Way will be open to traffic north and south of the intersection with 170th Street. This segment of 170th Street will remain closed for the duration of the Phase 1 of the project, scheduled from April 27 to June 6. Visit the project webpage for more information and a detour map.

179th Street: Beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday May 4, 179th Street will be closed to all traffic between Cedar Avenue and just west of Flushing Hills Court. All side street accesses to 179th Street will be closed with the exception of Flushing Hills Court. All access to the Crossroads of Lakeville commercial development will be detoured to the existing accesses on Cedar Avenue and Dodd Boulevard. The access to Crossroads of Lakeville at 179th Street be will reopened within 45 days, which is expected to occur on June 19th. Once this occurs, the closure of 179th Street will be moved to just east of the Crossroads of Lakeville access and will remain until November.
