Man Charged In Lakeville Gun Store Burglary

The 22-year-old was charged with theft and possession of stolen firearms.

LAKEVILLE, MN — A Minneapolis man is accused of stealing guns from a federally licensed firearms dealer in Lakeville. Presley Aaron Peltier, 22, was arrested on Aug. 17 and faces theft and possession of stolen firearms charges.

According to the indictment and law enforcement reports, on Aug. 3 Peltier and another person drove a stolen SUV into the rear entrance of a firearms dealer’s storefront in Lakeville.

The two stole four firearms from the store and fled the scene in the SUV, authorities said. They abandoned the stolen vehicle in a south Minneapolis school parking lot, according to police.
