There's an incredible Private Playground in Farmington that's luckily open to the community

Farmington boasts one of the best playgrounds in the south-metro, or even the state - take a look!

Giant Slides, Swings, Picnic Tables, Shelter from the Sun, and a Safe Environment

What more could you ask for in a playground for your family?

I'm the Dad of three beautiful daughters, and we're south-metro local-ites that enjoy playing at the parks and playgrounds in our communities.

There's a little gem of a park that I stumbled upon a couple years ago that I highly recommend people check out. It's privately owned by Christian Life Academy - a Minnesota private school that's located at 6300 212th St. W.Farmington, MN 55024.

This park is absolutely amazing.

Here are the Top 5 Things about the Christian Life Park in Farmington Minnesota

1 - The Super Huge Slide

This is a safe structure that goes up three stories and then connects three different slides. The top slide must be at least 50 feet in the air, and it sports an aggressive turn in the middle of it's enclosed descent. The turn in the slide causes kids to yelp for joy as it turns their stomach just enough to provide a thrill.

2 - The Overall Structure

This playground is clean and expansive.

You can play a mean game of tag where you don't touch the ground.

As a parent, I love that it's well thought out, clean, and really safe.

I'm a really big dad, and I'm comfortable moving around this thing as my kids dip and dive through it with ease. This thing is EXPANSIVE though, and it's a ton of fun to play "hot lava" where you keep off the ground and try to tag each other.

It's also fun for hide-and-go-seek

3 - The Climbing Rope Tower

I guess I'm not really sure what these are called, but it's a tower made up of high-tension ropes. This one is incredibly large and of high quality. My daughters LOVE climbing these and this one's top-notch.

4 - The Shelter, Adult Seating, and Picnic Tables

When you want to just relax and watch your kids, there are ample places to sit and watch. You can tell the park was designed for a school - so that observation and supervision is easy. There is a shelter with a nice roof and multiple picnic benches which provide shelter from the elements.

5 - Fields all around

Behind the park is a wide swath of baseball diamonds and soccer fields. While we don't go on these, we've run around them on the path which is actually quite fun.

Conclusion:

This is a fun park, with the upmost quality equipment and design. The folks at Christian Life Academy executed one of the best playgrounds in the south metro!
