Allstate employees secure $27,000 grant for Boys & Girls Clubs

The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to enable young people to reach their full potential

ELK RIVER, Minn., September 7, 2018 – Thirty Allstate agency owners, personal financial representatives and licensed sales professionals from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area recently came together to secure a $27,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® Grant to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elk River. The grant will support the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission to enable young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

For volunteering their time, the agency owners, personal financial representatives and licensed sales professionals earned the grant for the Boys & Girls Club of Elk River. At a golf tournament that raised funds for the Boys & Girl Club of Elk River, Allstate volunteers helped with registration, facilitated activities and events at each hole and assisted with the post-tournament dinner and prizes.

The Allstate volunteers are among thousands of agency owners, personal financial representatives and licensed sales professionals around the country working to improve communities by giving their time for the causes they care about most.

Giving back is core to who we are at Allstate, which is why we’re proud to volunteer and raise funds to improve the lives of young people across Elk River and the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elk River is one of thousands of organizations this year to receive Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grants secured by agency owners, financial specialists, and licensed sales professionals on behalf of the nonprofits where they volunteer.
