Here Are The MVP Odds For MN Vikings QB Josh Dobbs

MINNEAPOLIS — After getting benched and then traded from the Arizona Cardinals earlier this season, quarterback Joshua Dobbs has electrified the offense of the Minnesota Vikings and turned heads across the NFL.

Just days after he landed in Minnesota and with next to no knowledge of the playbook, Dobbs led the Vikings to a come-from-behind victory in week nine on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

In just the first half of Minnesota's game against the New Orleans Saints at U.S. Bank Stadium, Dobbs threw for 220 pass yards with an 81.8 completion percentage and recorded one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown.

At the half, the Vikings led 24-3. They won 27-19 and are now 6-4, one game behind the NFC North-leading Detroit Lions (7-2).

The MVP odds for the journeyman quarterback are sure to skyrocket after Sunday's game. According to Vegas Insider, Dobb's odds of winning the MVP are +15000.

Those odds have so much value, if you were to bet $10 on Dobbs winning the MVP, you would receive $1500 in profit if he won.

The Dobbs trade came after Minnesota's Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending Achilles' tendon tear, which required surgery.

In exchange for Dobbs — plus a 2024 seventh-round pick — the Vikings sent Arizona a 2024 sixth-round pick.
