MINNEAPOLIS — Things got heated on the court between the Los Angeles Clippers' Russell Westbrook and a Minnesota Timberwolves fan before Sunday's game at the Target Center.

During warm-ups, the former NBA MVP winner and perennial All-Star confronted a heckler wearing a Timberwolves jersey, telling him: "Sit your a-- down," as seen and heard in a video posted by TikTok user @nagashiajackson.

Westbrook then signaled for the fan to come over to him, saying, "Come here," and "I can’t hear you. Come over here."

The fan came over, and the two continued to jaw at each other until a security guard separated them.

"All right. Better sit your a-- down," Westbrook said. "I ain’t the one. I’m not the one." Westbrook walked away but appeared frustrated and continued to stare daggers at the fan. The Clippers lost to the first-place Wolves, 109 to 105.

Sunday was not the first time Westbrook has gotten into it with a Timberwolves fan. In 2022, a Minnesota fan called him "Westbrick," a reference to his shooting percentage that season.

Westbrook confronted the fan until he used the point guard's correct name.
