3-Year-Old Minnetonka Boy Struck, Killed By Vehicle
A 3-year-old boy was killed when he ran into traffic Thursday morning at the intersection of Smetana and Feltl roads.
A 3-year-old boy was killed when he ran into traffic Thursday morning at the intersection of Smetana and Feltl roads, Minnetonka police said. The child was struck by a vehicle driven an 80-year-old Minnetonka man about 9 a.m.
Police say the driver was traveling eastbound on Smetana Road when he struck the boy, police said. The boy was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say they do not suspect the driver was impaired. The boy was running along the road before he darted into traffic.
