MINNEAPOLIS — The Twin Cities metro area rental market is red hot. That means finding an apartment in Minneapolis that fits your budget is harder than ever, especially when trying to get the most space for your money.

RENTCafe, a blog that studies rentals in each state, conducted a study to analyze how much space can be rented on average in 38 cities in Minnesota. The data was analyzed by Yardi Matrix, a company that researches and reports on large-scale multifamily properties.

The city that has the most space for $1,400 is St. Cloud, where you'll get 1,446 square feet, the site said.
