MINNEAPOLIS — The city of Minneapolis announced Tuesday that it has settled with a local Fantastic Sams franchise — located at 5003, 34th Avenue South — over the enforcement of the city's minimum wage law.

Workers will be paid $10,000 in back wages and penalties owed under the law, officials said.

The settlement will also require training to create a "safe space for management and workers alike to discuss workplace concerns and avoid problems in the future," the city said in a news release.
