A shortage of truck drivers has made national news recently, and the County’s WFD program is producing a great pool of candidates ready to join the workforce.

The County’s WFD program has partnered with two truck driving schools to cover the cost of training and career services through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program. Those enrolled in this program qualify based on income status, employment status, and other potential barriers to employment.
