St. Louis County Government: St. Louis County Sets Dates For Community Townhalls On Spending American Rescue Plan Act Funds

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO (March 1, 2022) - The St. Louis County community will be able to voice how they think funds from the American Rescue Plan Act should be spent in a series of virtual and in-person townhalls scheduled for this month.

“This federal funding will allow us to make historic investments in our community and we want to make sure we get as much input as we can from our residents,” said County Executive Dr. Sam Page.

Here is the schedule for the in-person townhalls:

• Thursday, March 10 from 6-8p.m. at Lewis & Clark Library Branch
• Wednesday, March 16 from 6-8p.m. at Grants View Library Branch
• Saturday, March 19 from 10a.m – noon at Indian Trails Library Branch
• Wednesday, March 23 from 6-8p.m. at Thornhill Library Branch

“We believe the combination of virtual and in-person townhalls will provide us the platforms needed to hear from as many St. Louis County residents as possible,” said Veta Jeffery, Chief Diversity Officer. “We are intentionally working to make certain that we include opportunities for those whose lives have been disproportionally impacted during this pandemic.”

The online portion of the survey launched last Friday on the County website. Since its launch, more than 550 surveys have been submitted. The online survey will close on March 25.
