Amherst Man Indicted On Robbery Charge: Superior Court Roundup

Teen indicted on sexual assault charge; murder indictment; Bedford man indicted on threat charge; Bow woman indicted on drug dealing charge.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Sarah Lafond, 32, of West River Road in Hooksett on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused by police of stealing a jacket with another person’s wallet inside on April 17, 2021, in Manchester. Twice before, according to the indictment, she has been convicted on theft charges.

Raymond Laforest III, 24, of Barker Street in Keene on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused by police of assaulting a child, causing bruising to their head and ears, on Sept. 12, 2021, in Goffstown.

Jason Lumenello, 46, of Culver Street in Plaistow on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused by police of stealing another person’s 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Bedford on Oct. 16, 2020.

William Merrell, 48, of Beech Hill Avenue in Manchester on felonious sexual assault, aggravated felonious sexual assault, indecent exposure and lewdness, reckless conduct, and felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charges. He was accused by police of fondling and sexually assaulting a child, possessing a firearm after being convicted on a second-degree assault charge in March 1999, and shooting the gun in an occupied dwelling on Nov. 15, 2021, in Manchester. Zoe Murphy, 39, of Dicandra Drive in Bow on a felony conspiracy to sell fentanyl charge between Feb. 1, and Nov. 4, 2021, in Manchester.

Anderson Pereira, 42, formerly of Methuen, Massachusetts, on first-degree murder, theft by unauthorized taking, and two counts of falsifying physical evidence charges, all felonies. He was accused by police o fkilling Zakhia Charabaty, removing his body and cellphone, and stealing a truck on March 12, and March 13, 2020. Craig Polishan, 49, of Stowell Road in Bedford on a felony criminal threatening charge. In Bedford, he was accused of displaying a gun and ordering a person to the ground on Sept. 4, 2021.

Dominic I. Santiago, 24, of Amherst Street in Amherst on a felony robbery charge. He was accused by police of using physical force while armed with a gun to rob two others in Amherst on Dec. 10, 2021.

David Wilson, 37, of Lake Avenue in Manchester on felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, two possession of a controlled drug, fentanyl and meth, with intent to distribute, possession of meth and fentanyl charges, all felonies, on Oct. 9, 2021, in Bedford. He was accused by police of possessing a knife and drugs.
