How Much Snow Did Amherst Get?

Up to 7.5 inches of snow fell across New Hampshire during the last 25 hours, according to the National Weather Service.

GRAY, ME — The latest snowfall data has been released by the National Weather Service and while most parts of the state received a few inches to as much as half a foot of snow, according to the results. Read the full list of snow total results posted by the National Weather Service at 1:04 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2016, here.

The NWS didn't report snow totals for Amherst. However, in Merrimack, 2.8 inches fell, according to the report. Milford received 4.3 while Nashua reported 4.4. Peterborough received 6.5 inches, according to the report.

Communities in the Lakes Region received between 2 and 3 inches of snow while some Cheshire County communities received 6 to 7.5 inches, according to the report. Most of Hillsborough County ranges from 3 to 6.5 inches while Merrimack County communities were in the 3.5 to 6 inch range.

Interior Rockingham County reported 2 to 5 inches, according to the listing.

The National Weather Service is also warning that a wind chill advisory and/or warning may be needed for parts of the state later this week, beginning on Thursday and running through Friday morning.
