3 Arrested After Gunfire Outside Babylon Hookah Lounge In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH — Three people face charges after an incident outside the Babylon Hookah Lounge on Maple Street.

Sunday at about 2:45 a.m. there were several “shotspotter” activations indicating gunfire in the area of Maple and Valley Street, Manchester Police responded immediately. Witnesses told police that a man had gotten into an altercation inside Babylon Hookah Loungeon Maple Steet with people inside the establishment. One of the altercations spilled out onto the sidewalk. The staff then closed the door and told him he wasn’t allowed back inside.

Shortly after, several gunshots were heard coming from the parking lot. It was learned the man, identified as Dominick Lundrigan, 23, of Ossipee, had shot a gun multiple times into the air, according to police.

Lundrigan was on scene when police arrived and was arrested and is accused of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon.

While investigating, police asked people to leave the parking lot, where they encountered a man in a vehicle who refused to go, according to MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel.

He was ordered to step out of the vehicle but did not comply. Jonathan Bunzigyie, 32, of Westbrook, Maine, was arrested, accused of disorderly conduct.

A woman was also arrested after being asked to leave the area and then throwing a solo cup at an officer. Adhok Yac of Lewisham, Australia, was accused of disorderly conduct and simple assault.

The city has suspended the establishment’s business license, and a hearing will be held next week. Hamel said, "Under Sec 110:27C of the Manchester city ordinance code, licenses may be revoked immediately and prior to the hearing process where the danger to public health, welfare, and/or safety is immediate.”

Along with this shooting, Babylon Hookah Lounge has had multiple incidents of health, fire, and liquor infractions.
