Pedestrian Struck on I-293 In Manchester Identified As 63-Year-Old Man

Mark Robinson from Auburn was struck on I-293 in Manchester and remains in critical condition after Wednesday's accident in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire State Police continue to investigate an accident on 293 in Manchester near mile marker 6.6 that left a pedestrian critically injured after a truck struck him on the highway.

Manchester Fire, AMR ambulance, and state troopers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck at Mile Marker 6.6 on Wednesday at about 6 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with serious injuries, and he was taken to Elliot Hospital. An initial report stated the man had died. However, the man is being treated at the Elliot Hospital.

The preliminary investigation indicates the adult male entered the travel portion of the roadway for unknown reasons and was struck by a Ford E-350 SD work van. The driver of the involved Ford remained on the scene and is fully cooperating with the state police.

State police have identified the pedestrian as Mark Robinson, 63, of Auburn.
