Manchester, NH — NHSP, Manchester firefighters and police, and AMR are at the scene of a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 293 south in Manchester in the Exit 5 and Granite Street area Friday morning.

The tractor-trailer appeared to have lost control and the trailer was hanging over the Exit 5 southbound offramp. During the truck's crash, a passenger car appears to have struck the tractor-trailer unit. I-293 south was closed at the Exit 5 offramp southbound while the scene was under investigation.

Initial reports are that the truck's tanks, which held about 130 gallons of fuel, were compromised, and fire crews are working to contain that.
