Flipped Tractor Trailer, Commuting Delays: Patch AM Traffic Digest

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation:

Traffic Updates

North Jersey

As of 8:15 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 495 eastbound exit ramp east of New Jersey Turnpike in Secaucus. 1 right lane closed.

As of 7:56 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 3 eastbound at NJ 17 in Rutherford. 1 left lane closed; 5 minute delay.

As of 7:34 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound south of Interchange 14 - I-78/US 1&9 in Newark. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 7:26 a.m., there's a disabled truck on I-80 eastbound east of Exit 34 - NJ 15 in Rockaway Township. 1 center lane closed.

As of 6:19 a.m., there are delays at the Lincoln Tunnel center tunnel eastbound from New Jersey side - Toll Plaza in Weehawken to New York side in New York. Travel time is 15 minutes from New Jersey Turnpike Exit 16E to the New York side.

As of 6:06 a.m., there are delays on the George Washington Bridge lower and upper levels eastbound New Jersey side in Fort Lee. All lanes open. The travel time is 20 minutes on I-95 from I-80 to the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

Central Jersey

As of 7:21 a.m., there's a disabled bus on the Garden State Parkway express lanes northbound North of Exit 117 - NJ 36 in Aberdeen Township. 1 right lane blocked.

As of 6:20 a.m., there's a crash, downed pole and downed wires on NJ 27 in both directions south of CR 605/River Road in Princeton. All lanes closed.

As of 4:44 a.m., there's an overturned tractor trailer on I-78 eastbound ramp to northbound Exit 29 - I-287/US 202/US 206 in Bedminster Township. All lanes closed.

South Jersey

As of 4:15 a.m., there’s construction on NJ 70 in both directions between Cropwell Road in Evesham Township and CR 673/Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. All lanes shift.

Transit Updates

All NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

NJ Weather

Expect patchy fog before 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Otherwise, Wednesday should see sunny skies with a high near 84.
