Three restaurants in Asbury Park won't be open when new coronavirus restrictions take effect on Thursday night.

ASBURY PARK – Three restaurants in Asbury Park won't be open when new coronavirus restrictions take effect on Thursday night.

The restrictions say restaurants and bars must close after 10 a.m., and seating won't be allowed at the bar.

Barrio Costero, Laylow and Reyla will be closed for 48 hours, until Saturday.

"For the safety and concern of everyone, we will be making the difficult decision to close our restaurants for the next 48 hours due to COVID exposure," the restaurants' owners said on their Facebook page. "We have always believed in being completely transparent with our guests in every situation. We do this because we genuinely value your trust, loyalty, and respect."

All team members of Cul+ure Collective will be tested for COVID-19. No team member will return to work until negative test results have been issued

A professional cleaning company will be disinfecting all restaurants for the next 48 hours.

Disinfecting of HVAC ducts will be done to ensure germ-free airflow.
