Man Who Fired Gun Into Neptune Apartments Located In Georgia: PD

A man wanted for firing a gun into the Brighton Arms apartment complex in Neptune City in May has been located outside Atlanta:

NEPTUNE, NJ — A man wanted for firing a gun into the Brighton Arms apartment complex in Neptune City in May of this year has been located and arrested in Georgia, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Friday.

Andre Paul, 27, of Ocean Township is charged with first-degree attempted murder, two second-degree weapons offenses and third-degree hindering apprehension.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday, May 22, police say Paul fired the gun into the Brighton Arms apartments on West Sylvania Avenue. Nobody was hit by the gunfire, but multiple vehicles and an apartment unit in the complex were struck by the bullets, said the prosecutor.

Paul was arrested without incident Thursday of this week in Stone Mountain, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. He is waiting extradition to Monmouth County.
