Kilos Of Meth, Cocaine, Fentanyl Found In Asbury Park Home

ASBURY PARK, NJ — An Asbury Park apartment was the site of a major illegal drug operation, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger announced Wednesday.

Law enforcement searched the home in November 2022 and unearthed more than three kilograms of methamphetamine, over three kilograms of cocaine, approximately 150 grams of fentanyl and various drug distribution paraphernalia, including a pill press, he said.

They also found approximately seven kilograms of cutting agents used to mix into the drugs.

Approximately $19,000 in cash was also found in the home, and a loaded Hi-Point .380 caliber pistol.

The man who lived in the home is Dywann Pugh, 44. He was sentenced Wednesday to 120 months in prison for illegally possessing enough methamphetamine to sell, and owning a gun as a convicted felon.

Pugh previously pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine, and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
