Rooftop Event Venue At Berkeley OK'd By Planning Board
The hotel is looking to use a portion of its rooftop for weddings and other events.
ASBURY PARK, NJ – The Asbury Park planning board approved a resolution allowing the Berkley Oceanfront Hotel to turn its rooftop into an event venue, including a bar and seating space for weddings and other events.
The proposal also calls for the installation of bathrooms and a sound-mitigating system for the planned event space, which will be located on the southeastern part of the Berkley’s roof.
When complete, the space will have room for 10 large tables, each seating 10 each, and room for other tables and seating.
