Nutley, Clifton Development: New Health Care Center Is On Schedule

NUTLEY, NJ — Construction is on track for the opening of Hackensack Meridian Health’s new ambulatory care center at ON3 in Nutley and Clifton, developers say.

Situated on the southeast corner of Metro Boulevard and Route 3 in Clifton, the 80,000-square-foot “state-of-the-art facility” will serve as the gateway to the mixed-use campus – which was formerly home to pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche.

According to a news release from developer Prism Capital Partners, the 80,000 square foot, four-story center with an attached parking structure will include multi-specialty practice areas and potentially an ambulatory surgical center. The facility will feature a “distinctive glass curtain wall façade, double height entry and daylight-enriched spaces.”

A November 2024 delivery is expected, according to Prism Capital.

When complete, the new center will add to 1.45 million square feet of fully occupied office and research and development lab space at ON3, with more than two million square feet of additional space planned for the 116-acre site.

Prism Capital Partners maintains its headquarters at ON3. Other occupants of the campus include Eisai Inc., Quest Diagnostics, the Ralph Lauren Corporation, Seton Hall University’s Graduate College of Nursing and School of Health and Medical Sciences, Modern Meadow, and Y-mAbs Therapeutics.
