Garden State Parkway Vehicle Fire In Berkeley Area Causing Delays

BERKELEY, NJ — A vehicle fire is causing delays on the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday morning, according to officials. The fire took place on the northbound side at mile marker 78, which is right by exit 77 to Berkeley.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office reported the fire at 7:26 a.m. Expect traffic delays at this time, the OCSO said.

Officials blocked off the right lane, 511nj.org reported at 7:24 a.m. The notification has since been removed from 511nj.org, indicating that traffic may be clear now. Patch is awaiting confirmation from state police.
