Water Main Break In Bloomfield; Traffic Delays Expected

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — A portion of Franklin Street was closed in Bloomfield due to a water main break on Tuesday, officials said.

The westbound portion of Franklin Street between Berkeley and Newark Avenue will be closed while repairs are being made. There will be police officers at the scene directing traffic; commuters should expect delays and plan an alternate route, officials said.

The estimated time of repair is three to four hours, officials said at 8:24 a.m.
