The concert lineup for Summerfest has been released -- mark your calendars!

BRICK, NJ -- The SummerFest 2016 concert series has been announced for this summer, with some familiar acts and some new ones set to fill Windward Beach Park with music once again, this time in partnership with Townsquare Media, Brick Mayor John Ducey announced.

“This year’s SummerFest Concert Series is going to be the best the one yet. We have scheduled four great bands that all play music that everyone knows,” Ducey said. “In addition, we have brought Townsquare Media Jersey Shore in to be the new media partner of SummerFest. Townsquare is the largest media company in New Jersey and their radio stations are listened to by more people than any others.”

Townsquare Media Jersey Shore’s radio stations include 94.3 The Point, 92.7 WOBM, 105.7 The Hawk and 1160/1310 WOBM-AM.

Rubix Kube – The Galaxy’s Most Original ‘80s Tribute Band - The KUBE is more than just a cover band. Every super-charged show takes it to the max and guarantees to set the roof on fire and burn down the house. (Metaphorically speaking of course).

SummerFest is free to attend.

“SummerFest wouldn’t be possible without sponsorships. We are currently seeking sponsors for this year’s series,” Ducey said. “This is a great chance for businesses to become associated with one of the longest running municipally-run series in New Jersey and a Jersey Shore tradition that attracts tens of thousands of people each summer. With Townsquare on board, this year’s SummerFest will be even bigger than ever.”

Any business that is interested in becoming a SummerFest sponsor should contact Madeline Iannarone of the Brick Township Recreation Department at 732-262-1076.

In addition to the concerts, the SummerFest series includes Drive-In Movies, the National Night Out Against Crime/Kids Day Celebration, the SummerFest Car Show and the Bricktoberfest Celebration in October.
