Boulevard At Brick Apartments Open To Tenants: Take A Peek

The complex, described as upscale rentals, expects to open the third and fourth buildings in January and February, officials said.

BRICK, NJ — A little over a year after contractors started clearing trees from the site, the Boulevard at Brick apartments are receiving tenants.

The complex, which was the subject of much debate before the Planning Board over community concerns that it would be dedicated to affordable housing, began in late November to allow residents to move in, a spokesperson for the complex owner said.

One- and two-bedroom units in the first two buildings filled quickly, and preleasing is underway for Buildings 3 and 4, which are respectively scheduled to open in January and February, the spokesperson said.

The Boulevard at Brick features "luxury amenities and modern design, (and) has been hailed by many as a breath of fresh air in an area sorely in need of high-end rental options to attract the next generation of aspiring residents," the complex owner, TFE Properties of East Windsor, said in a news release.

The apartments in the 120-unit complex range from 914 square feet to 1,399 square feet and have quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, private balconies, elevators, high-tech security, and there are pet-friendly options. A 3,000-square-foot outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a clubhouse are scheduled to open a little later in 2017, the news release said.
