Brick Reschedules Bronx Wanderers SummerFest Performance

A threat of severe weather convinced officials to cancel Thursday's activites.

Brick, NJ -- If you were looking forward to seeing the Bronx Wanderers perform at SummerFest, you're going to have to wait a little longer.

Township officials announced that the SummerFest concert and fireworks scheduled for Thursday, July 7, have been canceled due to a forecast of severe weather.

The concert has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 10, officials said.

The National Weather Service forecast says there is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms tonight in Brick and Ocean County is under a flash flood watch as heavy rain is possible.

Next week's SummerFest concert features the Amish Outlaws, with fireworks following the concert.
