BRICK, NJ — Food. Games. Fireworks. Fun. That's what's in store Saturday at the annual Fall Fest at Windward Beach Park in Brick.

Fall Fest is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and includes inflatables for the kids, a cornhole tournament for the adults, games and firepits. There will be more than a dozen food trucks, and Windward Tavern will be operating a beer and wine garden for those 21 or older.

The day will close out with a fireworks display.

The cornhole tournament is open to teams of two people, age 18 or older. Games are to 21 points (no penalty for going over 21) and it's a double-elimination tournament with prizes for first, second and third place. The entry fee is $10 per team and you can register in advance on the Brick Recreation website. Walk-up registrations for the tournament will be accepted until 2:30 p.m. at Fall Fest, and the games begin at 2:45 p.m.

Because of the anticipated large crowds, there will be shuttle buses from Midstreams Elementary School and the Veterans Memorial complex on Hendrickson Boulevard. Two buses will run continuously from the two schools, Brick officials said.
