Going To SummerFest Tonight In Brick? Take The Shuttles

Police urge residents and visitors to hop on the buses instead of trying to park illegally on side streets near Windward Beach Park.

With clear skies, comfortable temperatures and no threat of rain, there may be no better night to go to SummerFest in Brick than tonight.

The concert performance will be by The Time Machine Band and will begin at 6:30 p.m., with fireworks following the concert.

It is free to attend SummerFest, and there is a food court and, for those 21 or older, a beer and wine garden.

If you are planning to go, however, township officials and the police department are urging you to use the shuttle buses the township provides to get to and from SummerFest.

The police department posted a reminder on its Facebook page telling residents and visitors that parking is restricted on those side streets.
