Local Filmmaker's Documentary On Superstorm Sandy To Air Again On NJ-TV

"Heartbreak and Healing After Sandy" will be broadcast again in early October.

Toms River native and filmmaker Sandy Levine labored for two years to document the devastation from Superstorm Sandy in her film Heartbreak & Healing After Sandy.

The documentary was briefly shown in 2014 in several venues, including a presentation at the Ocean County Library in Toms River. This October, the film will be shown again.

I’m very happy about these broadcasts because as you know, many people could not get WHYY here and were disappointed,” Levine said. ”NJ-TV is seen throughout NJ and in parts of the surrounding states. Now those who missed it the last time around will have a chance to see it.”
