JACKSON, NJ — If you're looking for a way to cool off in this heat wave, Six Flags Great Adventure is rolling out a new addition to its Hurricane Harbor water park: Calypso Springs.

Described as a "giant activity pool," it is the largest new attraction at Hurricane Harbor since the waterpark opened in 2000.

Calypso Springs includes a 100,000-gallon beach-entry pool, a fountain with spontaneously erupting geyser, a giant, open lounge deck with hundreds of chairs for sunbathing, and oversized umbrellas for those trying to limit their sun exposure, and a new dining area.
