Thursday's SummerFest Postponed Due To Weather Threat

With another round of heavy rain in the forecast for the evening hours, Brick Township officials have decided to postpone tonight’s SummerFest concert and fireworks.

An announcement from the township says the appearance by the Bronx Wanderers has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 19.

The morning’s overcast skies are expected to be followed by heavy rain and thunderstorms in the early evening hours, according to the National Weather Service and Weather Underground.
