What Was Brick's Average Home Sale Price In 2015?

BRICK, NJ – The real estate market ebbs and flows, especially in New Jersey, but 2015 saw an uptick in home sales and prices.

The New Jersey Division of Taxation released data on the average sale price – not listing price or assessed value – for all homes sold in Ocean County in 2015. The data doesn't detail the number of homes sold, just the average sale price.

The highest averages on the list, not surprisingly, were most of the barrier island towns. Only one barrier island town -- Seaside Heights -- had an average of less than a quarter-million dollars. Overall, Ocean County homes sold for average of $324,206.

Mantoloking came in as the highest, with the average home sale price in the borough coming in at just under $2 million. Manchester Township came in at the bottom of the list, with its average sale price of $162,056, less than 10 percent of the average sale price in Mantoloking.
