SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A Heat Advisory was issued for Somerset County due to forecasted hot temperatures and high humidity.

The National Weather Service(NWS) issued the Heat Advisory from 10 a.m. on Friday through 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Heat index values ranging from 100 to 103 degrees are expected. The NWS warns that hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Additionally, the weather will remain very warm and humid tonight offering little relief from the heat.

  • Check up on relatives and neighbors
  • Take extra precautions when outside
