Are COVID Cases Rising In The Caldwells?

As COVID cases rise again around the country and state, Essex County has moved its vaccination and testing site.

CALDWELL, NJ — Two years ago, the governor's office reported that 7,228 New Jersey residents had died of COVID in March and April. It was a time before widespread testing, availability of personal protective equipment, and vaccines. This past Friday, the number in New Jersey was 46 deaths in one week. But as always, officials are watching the numbers to see if outbreaks occur.

Nationally and statewide, there has been an uptick in cases following Spring Break. COVID hospitalizations have risen in 37 states in the last two weeks, said Becker's Hospital Review.
