Artwork by Karen LaGreca on Display at Roseland Free Public Library

Show includes a "Children's World" collection of artworks designed for young people!

A variety of works by textile artist Karen LaGreca will be on display in the library community room in March and April.

A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology with a concentration in textile design, Karen has enjoyed a diverse 40-year career designing home furnishing products and working directly with manufacturers. Many of her textures and prints can be found in the halls and rooms of hotels such as Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton. She has also created a variety of wallcovering collections for residential and commercial markets. Karen later expanded into designing bedding and bath ensembles, carpets, accent rugs, throws, and decorative pillows. A more recent artistic venture has led her to swimming pool liners. Many of her home furnishing designs have been sold in retail companies in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Karen has been hard at work with her latest passion - sharing a piece of herself and life's possibilities by creating artwork that comes from her heart and reflects her inner spirit. She founded ACL Galleries in Livingston in 2020. As a new member of the Livingston Arts Association and West Essex Art Association, she enjoys meeting new artists and learning more about their work.
