Caldwell Pollinator Gardens Blooming On Personette Street

Caldwell residents and local college students have been turning Personette Street into an oasis of pollinator gardens and native trees.

CALDWELL, NJ — When residents and visitors to Caldwell walk down Personette Street this summer, they are getting a glimpse into an essential natural processes for organic life: pollination.

Since the borough purchased open space in the area, local environmentalists, community gardeners and nearby college students have been turning Personette Street into a bountiful oasis of pollinator gardens and native trees.

Members of the Caldwell Environmental Commission recently took a moment to welcome a new sign to the street, which was paid for by a grant from the Association of NJ Environmental Commissions (ANJEC).
