Through the agreement, the team will collaborate directly with the university to create class-based and independent study projects for Caldwell students. Caldwell University spokespeople offered more details about the partnership:

“Beginning in the spring of 2025, the Jets will collaborate with Caldwell to develop Jets-centric programs for the university’s students, with a goal of enhancing student success via real life experiences. These programs will provide students with relevant course work, while aligning with important challenges and innovation opportunities with the team. As a part of the partnership, Caldwell University will be a presenting sponsor of the 1JD Entertainment content series ‘Origins,’ which will tell the story of the beginnings of New York Jets players careers, highlighting their hometowns, college experiences, family lives, and influential people who helped them get to where they are today.”

“Caldwell is an historic institution with a long legacy of developing the best and brightest women and men,” said Jeff Fernandez, vice president of the team’s business development and ventures.

“We can think of no other professional organization or team with which to associate to help students become better leaders, to support our faculty and staff’s goals, and to make a difference in our communities,” Senese added.
