CALDWELL, NJ — National Coffee With A Cop Day is Wednesday. What better time to get to know your local law enforcement officers?

The Caldwell Police Department is hosting a "Coffee With A Cop" event for the public Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Calandra’s Italian Village in Caldwell, 234 Bloomfield Ave.

You can join your neighbors and members of the Caldwell Police Department for coffee, donuts, and conversation.

Captain Matthew DeAngelo noted, "No agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know members of the Caldwell Police Department."

National Coffee with a Cop day is a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.
