Free Recycling Container Giveaway In West Caldwell

Officials plan to give away 300 recycling containers, each 20-gallons, to West Caldwell residents free of charge.

WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The township of West Caldwell will hold a free recycling container giveaway event on Saturday, June 30. Officials plan to give away 300 recycling containers, each 20-gallons, to West Caldwell residents free of charge.

Proof of residency will be required and the containers will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Public Works Yard, 21 Clinton Road (behind the police station). One container will be given per household, while supplies last. For more information call (973) 226-2303.

If any containers are left after the event, they will be available at the Health Department, 30 Clinton Road, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., officials said.
