When Will Snow End In The Caldwells, And What's The Expected Accumulation?

THE CALDWELLS, NJ — How many inches of snow will the Caldwells get, and when will it end?

A revised forecast for the area says 4-8 inches are possible through 1 p.m. Saturday.

NJ Transit said, "NJ TRANSIT will temporarily suspend all bus, River LINE and Access Link services at the start of the service day on Saturday, Jan. 29. Service is anticipated to resume later in the day as soon as it is safe to do so. Train service, Newark Light Rail and Hudson-Bergen Light Rail on Saturday will remain on regular weekend schedules" with possible delays.

Meanwhile, the West Caldwell police sent an alert saying, "There will be no overnight parking allowed in West Caldwell due to the snow storm on Jan. 28, 2022 to Jan. 29,2022. Please remove all vehicles from the roadway so the plows are able to get through, Thank You."

Outdoor tents should be taken down depending on the wind load.

Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, resulting in power outages.
