James Caldwell High School Alumni Graduates from West Point

LOCAL CADET GRADUATES FROM WEST POINT- May 2024

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Cadet Mackenzie Courtright, daughter of Gregory and Jeanne Courtright of Caldwell NJ, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Mackenzie graduated from James Caldwell High School in June of 2020. While at West Point, she concentrated her studies in mechanical engineering. She was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Aviation branch and will report to Fort Novosel, Ala., for her first assignment.

Mackenzie is the first James Caldwell High School alumni in over 20 years to graduate from United States Military Academy at West Point. Mackenzie was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army by COL Melnyk. Immediately after the commissioning, her first salute was fellow Caldwell resident James Conti who is set to graduate from the Academy in May of 2025.
