Mixed Media Art by Ben Fernandez on Display at Roseland Library

Exhibit begins on Tuesday, January 9, and continues through the end of February.

Colorful mixed media works by artist Ben Fernandez will be on display in the Roseland Free Public Library's community room.
A native of Bridgewater, Ben is currently a senior honors art student at Caldwell University, where he is pursuing a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in mixed media and a minor in Art History. His multimedia work has been featured in various solo exhibitions and has won first-place awards at the state level for four consecutive years.
Ben's current work expresses his deepening interest in spirituality.
"Every one of my pieces becomes a different experience, each with exciting ideas, risks, and discoveries. To be still is to open our senses, allowing ourselves to be released from the busyness of our everyday lives. Stillness in body, mind, and spirit can enable us to discover the beauty within ourselves and our surroundings," he says.
