Tickets To 'Anastasia' At The Mount Are Now Available
Anastasia Tickets Now Available: Dive into the Magical World of This Must-See Musical at The Mount
Mount St. Dominic Academy's award-winning Performing Arts Program is thrilled to announce that tickets are on sale for the school's upcoming spring musical, Anastasia. Featuring captivating score and lyrics crafted by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, along with a compelling book penned by Terrence McNally, Anastasia promises to be a spectacular theatrical experience characterized by sumptuous scenery, enchanting costumes, and an uplifting and at times somber musical score. This exceptional production unfolds as a poignant exploration of self-discovery and the journey to defining one's true identity. The play will be performed at 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 29, Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2; and at 2pm on Sunday March 3, in the Doris M. Byrne Performing Arts Center at Mount St. Dominic Academy, which is located at 3 Ryerson Ave., Caldwell, NJ. Tickets are available here.
Based on the beloved 20th Century Fox animated movie, Anastasia, follows Anya, an amnesiac
orphan in post-revolutionary Russia, on a quest to rediscover her past in Paris amidst the rise of the Bolshevik regime. Teaming up with a conman and an ex-aristocrat, they aim to convince Dowager Empress Marie that Anya is the lost Anastasia. The musical, featuring classic songs
like "Journey to the Past," explores Anya's determined journey to find home, love, and family while discovering her true identity.
